Perspective…

You really don’t know how helpless you are until someone you really care about is in the hospital.  Last Thursday my dad went in for a routine procedure at Balboa Hospital, a simple procedure that turned into a fight for his life… my father after the procedure literally lost 2 liters of blood and his blood pressure dropped dangerously to 60, my mother described that a group of doctors were almost ready to revive my father… When the news finally hit my shell shocked body, I literally broke down and wept… something i haven’t done since I was a little kid… my whole foundation was shaken to its core… but by the grace of God, my father pulled through and he’s now by my side recovering.  As I look back and think of all the times i’ve yelled and thought bad thoughts towards my parents, I am forever gut checked by the event that took place on August 7th and I’ll never take advantage of the time i spend and share with my family
